Attack on Takodana

The attack on Takodana was a Nihil raid on the planet Takodana during the High Republic Era. Krix Kamerat, the leader of a specialized cell of the pirates who reported to Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro, had developed an obsession with killing Jedi. In response, Ro ordered him to find a way to prove himself after a debacle at Vrant Tarnum which had caused him to lose much of his unit's strength. Kamerat chose to attack Takodana, which had a Jedi Temple, in the hopes of destroying the temple and demonstrating to the pirate Maz Kanata, a long-time Takodana resident, that the Nihil were the only true marauders in the area. The lone Jedi at the Takodana temple, Sav Malagán, was able to drive off the first wave of the attack, but called for reinforcements from Starlight Beacon as she knew the Nihil would return. Kamerat retreated to Dol'har Hyde to gather more of his forces, vowing to destroy Malagán's temple.
