In 19 BBY, the newly-christened Darth Vader attacked the Jedi Order's space station Brighthome that was under Imperial control, with the Sith Lord wiping out all the clone stormtroopers in his way. While Vader could have had his droid transmit docking codes and enter the station without bloodshed, he elected to fight the station's personnel.
Vader came to the station to access its archives, as his Sith Master, Darth Sidious, ordered him to take a Kyber crystal from a Jedi he defeated in combat, so the Sith apprentice could then bleed it to his will. Using the archives, Vader's droid located Kirak Infil'a, who had survived the Great Jedi Purge by taking the Barash Vow.
The attack on Brighthome was first depicted in Darth Vader (2017) 2, a 2017 canon comic written by Charles Soule and penciled by Giuseppe Camuncoli.
