Ashas Rine was a terrestrial astronomical object where the Talpini Nihil Tempest Runner Zeetar was spotted by Togruta intelligence in the aftermath of the Valo Atrocity in 231 BBY. The Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic had identified him as a potential candidate for becoming Eye of the Nihil in the wake of the presumed death of Lourna Dee, another Tempest Runner they had mistaken as the Nihil's leader, at the Battle of Galov. Jedi Master Stellan Gios reported on the sighting of Zeetar at a briefing at the Starlight Beacon space station, displaying a hologram image of the Tempest Runner on Ashas Rine.
