Ascetics were those followers of the Cosmic Balance who were recipients of the Bowl. They lived humble lives in order to reap the rewards in the Life To Come. Living in Simple Homes, ascetics were allowed only a bowl and a datapad with the text of the Fulcrum on it. Ylanda Captison was an ascetic of the Cosmic Balance.
