When Dengar got into trouble in the Vergesso Asteroids, Manaroo contacted a group of spacers and implored them to help her rescue him.
In the current Star Wars canon, the Aruzans were first mentioned in the 2020 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying supplement, Starships and Speeders. However, the species originated within Star Wars Legends, where they were created by Dave Wolverton for the 1996 short story Payback: The Tale of Dengar, published in the Tales of the Bounty Hunters anthology.
