In Star Wars Legends, the Army of Light was an army formed by Jedi Lord Hoth to combat the Brotherhood of Darkness during the New Sith Wars. It made its first appearance in Star Wars Legends in the first issue of the Star Wars: Jedi vs. Sith series of comics, which was released on April 18, 2001.
