It was first identified as Arconese in the video "Every Language in Star Wars" which released in 2019 on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel. The name originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity where it was first used in Alien Anthology, a 2001 supplement to the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.
