The antislavery committee was a committee in the Galactic Republic's Galactic Senate. When trying to decide which of the Senate's committees to join, Senator Padmé Amidala was informed by her handmaiden Versé that the antislavery committee was an option, adding that it wasn't headed by anyone she knew and that she'd probably be able to talk her way into it without relying on references from Chancellor Palpatine.
