Ann Skinner

Ann Skinner worked as the continuity supervisor for the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, directed by George Lucas. Skinner referred to and modified the script while keeping detailed records of scenes as they were shot at Elstree Studios near London and on location in Tunisia. Special effects were created separately by Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) company in Los Angeles. Upon receiving the script in pre-production, Skinner gauged its expected length and checked the running order of scenes to inform the filming schedule.

Ann Skinner also worked on Far from the Madding Crowd (1967), Darling (1965) and Oh! What a Lovely War (1969).
