The Ancient Rite of Challenge was a ritual of the Mon Calamari and Quarren people. In order to settle debates, two indivduals could instead fight in the Sacred Arena of Salka'a. In 34 ABY, Rey fought Chadkol Gee's security droid, Arkay-Nine after the Resistance was accused of starting a brawl with a Quarren mob. Rey deafeated the droid but the Resistance was force to exile from Mon Cala because Rose Tico helped Rey in the fight.
