Amara was an information broker who maintained a HoloNet shadowfeed during the reign of the Galactic Empire. A confident computer slicer, Amara operated the feed in secrecy, allowing the discussion of topics that were otherwise deemed forbidden by Emperor Palpatine. On one occasion, Amara offered to provide a curious client with such secrets free of charge. The broker did so without knowing the credibility of the information, hoping that the client would pursue and verify it themselves.
