Aldraig

Aldraig was an astronomical object in the Alderaan sector of the Core Worlds. During the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Senator Bail Organa of the Imperial Senate attempted to cover up the theft of a UT-60D transport shipment by having an Aldraig data clerk mistakenly route a shipment of U-wings to Coruscant through Baylagon.

After the Galactic Empire's Imperial Security Bureau launched an inquiry led by Chief Investigator Axvering, Organa acknowledged the data clerk's mistake to Axvering, but believed that another layover would not have been an inconvenience to a competent pilot. The UT-60D transports eventually reached the Rebel Alliance. Imperial rations were produced by factories on Aldraig. Yrica Quell, a TIE fighter pilot in the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, remembered the aftertaste of Aldraig factory-stamped rations as astringent.

Aldraig was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Rebel Files, a canon 2017 boxed set and reference book authored by Daniel Wallace.
