Alderaanian opera was a type of opera native to the planet Alderaan.
In 22 BBY, the Alderaanian senator Bail Prestor Organa attended the Alderaanian opera. With him was his colleague Padmé Amidala with two of her handmaidens. During this time Amidala was disguised as a handmaiden and her handmaiden Sabé was disguised as Amidala. At this point Sabé had missed the last three seasons of Alderaanian opera and was excited to catch up.
Later at a soirée hosted by Organa one of the performers approached Sabé, again disguised as Amidala, and asked her what she thought of the most recent season interrupting her conversation with Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.
