Agrippa Aldrete

By the time of the Clone Wars, Aldrete was an elder statesman and Antilles had been replaced by Bail Organa as senator for Alderaan. During the conflict, Aldrete served as part of Organa's team of aides, which was led by the Alderaanian Sheltay Retrac. Aldrete had light skin, gray hair, and blue eyes. He wore a white shirt, white pants, and black shoes.

Agrippa Aldrete was created for the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, which was released on May 19, 1999. The character featured in a scene filmed on B Stage at Leavesden Studios on June 30, 1997. The scene was ultimately cut from the final release of the film and consisted of Aldrete sitting with Merian, Stoma, and Antilles in a repulorspod in the Senate Building while Queen Padmé Amidala calls for a Vote of No Confidence in Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum. Antilles, who during the film's production was named Bail Organa, then turns to Adrete, who nods, before the senator stands to second the motion.

In the current Star Wars canon, the character was first mentioned in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the character was first mentioned in the reference book Star Wars: Episode I The Visual Dictionary, which was released on May 26, 1999. According to the official news page of the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Agrippa Aldrete was named after the university's Professor Gregory Aldrete and his Labrador retriever Agrippa.

A character model very similar in appearance to Aldrete can be seen in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes "Assassin" and "Crisis on Naboo;" however, Holocron continuity database manager Leland Chee has stated that the model is not Agrippa due to its differing beard, also pointing out that the model is duplicated in some shots.
