A-wing pilots Nien Nunb, Freyta Smyth, and Bryen Rowne joined Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca for the mission. Although the mission resulted in the deaths of Smyth and Rowne, it was ultimately a success, as the target was taken out and news of the daring rebel attack reached the HoloNet.
