Advanced seeker missiles were a variant of the concussion missile that possessed homing capabilities. They were similar to homing concussion missiles, and were equippable on A-wings.
While attempting to rescue both fellow member Wedge Antilles and several other Rebel POWs, Rogue Squadron, after making sure any threats to the escape shuttle were eliminated, destroyed a bunker near the second prison facility and retrieved the advanced seeker missiles.
