An Iron Man comics and film veteran, he is providing covers for Marvel Comics' Darth Vader comic series. He has also drawn the covers for the remastered editions of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedis comic adaptations, as well as the Emerald City Comicon variant cover for Princess Leia 1, and the Forbidden Planet variant cover for the first issue of Marvel's 2015 Star Wars series, which is based on one of his Iron Man pieces.
Granov had drawn a Legacy variant for the first issue of Marvel's miniseries Star Wars: Shattered Empire, but the cover was eventually canceled by Lucasfilm.
