This raid was lead by ex-TIE pilot Qorl under the command of the fallen Jedi Brakiss who operated the Shadow Academy, an ally of the Imperium. Qorl utilized a modified assault shuttle to board the cruiser, jettison the Republic crew in escape pods, and stole the Adamant and her cargo.
