Adam Savage is an American industrial design and special effects designer who worked for ILM building ships and miniature sets for The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. During the production of Episode II, Savage nearly cameoed in the film itself when a stand-in for Temuera Morrison was needed to portray Jango Fett's hand. Just as the scene was to be shot, however, Savage was called away to build something off the soundstage.
He is most famous for co-hosting the MythBusters show on the Discovery Channel, along with Jamie Hyneman. In 2014, they hosted a MythBusters Star Wars Special episode. Savage voiced a member of the Galactic Empire along with Hyneman on Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars.
