Abrish was a Muun male who worked for a small enslavement empire on the planet of Oon during the Age of the Empire. At least once in 4 BBY, Abrish oversaw a new shipment of slaves collected from all across the Lothal sector, informing the empire's leader, MaDall, of her newest acquisitions to arrive from aboard an Aurore-class freighter, which included a Mandalorian called Sabine Wren.
Abrish first appeared, albeit unnamed, in "Return of the Slavers," a comic strip found in the fifth issue of the Star Wars Rebels Magazine. Abrish later received a name in a Twitter post by Martin Fisher, who showed a part of the script of "Return of the Slavers" to confirm Abrish's name and that they are a Muun.
