Aaloth was a Twi'lek colony planet in the Gaulus sector of the Outer Rim Territories. During its history, Aaloth was once occupied by the Sith Empire. By the High Republic Era, Aaloth was nominally a member of the Galactic Republic, as a part of the Clan Assembly on Ryloth and was ruled by a Keeper. It was the homeworld of the Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee and her family.
Aaloth first appeared in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott. Due to Tempest Runner being an audio-only release, the name's spelling was only confirmed by the short story "The Kindling" from the collection Life Day Treasury, also published in 2021.
