AC-38

AC-38, or "Ace," was an AC-series pilot droid who had its StarSpeeder hijacked by a rogue protocol droid and taken on a dangerous trip across the galaxy. Because of the incident, all AC-series units were retired from service and replaced by RX-series droids, which proved to be only slightly more reliable. Rumors indicated that the tour company for which Ace worked had him demoted to janitorial duties.
